   New start animation

   • New A new start animation: "hello" writes itself onto the island, then a hand waves at you.
   • Improved The island opens a bit taller and narrower when 01ST starts.

   Helper updates itself

   • Fixed After an update, the Open button helper is replaced by the new version automatically instead of keeping the old one running.

   Open button fix

   • Fixed The Open button that stays after you quit 01ST now sits next to the clock, so it is no longer hidden when the menu bar is full.

   Icon stays after quit

   • New When you quit 01ST, an Open button stays in the menu bar. One click starts 01ST again. Right-click it to remove the button.

   • Improved 01ST no longer shows up in the Dock or the app switcher. It lives in the notch and the menu bar. Quit it from the menu bar button (right-click → Quit 01ST).

   • Fixed After you drop a Moodboard picture into another app, the island folds back into the notch instead of staying open.

   • Fixed After dragging a Moodboard picture into a design app, 01ST no longer freezes for a few seconds. It now offers the file only, like the Finder, instead of converting the picture into several formats.

   The drop tile stays out of your way

   • Fixed Dragging inside Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Sketch, Affinity and other design, photo and video apps no longer opens the drop tile.
   • Fixed Dragging browser tabs no longer opens the drop tile.
   • Improved The tile now appears when a picture or link is dragged into the upper part of the screen, towards the notch, instead of as soon as any drag starts.

   Dragging into Illustrator

   • Fixed Moodboard pictures dragged into Illustrator now arrive. 01ST now drags them the way the Finder drags files, which is the kind of drag Adobe apps accept. Photoshop, Figma and the Finder work the same way.
   • Improved The first drag of a large picture starts without a pause: its file is prepared while you hover over it.

    A finished welcome tour

    • New The welcome tour now also lets you choose how tabs look (icon and text, icon only, text only) and whether 01ST opens when you sign in.
    • New Settings → Window has an "Open at login" switch.
    • Improved The "Make it yours" step has room for all choices, and Skip keeps everything as it was.

    • New Choose how tabs look: icon and text, icon only, or text only. Switch it in Settings → Behavior → Tabs or by right-clicking any tab.
    • Improved Tabs show their name as a tooltip when you pick icon only.

    Inspo is now Moodboard

    • Improved Inspo has a new name: Moodboard. The tab, the Library, the welcome tour and the drop texts all say Moodboard now.
    • Improved Your groups keep their pictures. A group called "Inspo 1" becomes "Moodboard 1"; names you chose yourself stay as they are.
    • Improved Pictures you drag out of the app are named Moodboard-….png.
